Increase Golf Swing Power With Posture Changes

posted in General | Print This Post Print This Post

If you are looking to increase your golf swing power, you need to pay attention to how your body moves in relation to applying power to the ball.  In particular, if you can use your back as an axis, then you will be well on your way to putting the power of your hip and shoulder muscles into each swing.  While it may take a little bit of practice, you should be able to double, and perhaps even triple your golf swing power once your body is aligned properly.

Chances are, your footsteps and walking patterns are different from everyone else.  Even though your walk may look similar outwardly, your muscles, inner ears, bones, and joints all work together in a specific way to achieve ambulation.  Chances are, if you try to duplicate someone else’s walking habits, you will find it very difficult, if not impossible.   In a similar way, when you are trying to increase golf swing power, you have to think carefully about how all of these elements work together.  Unfortunately, if you simply try to duplicate what everyone else does, you will not be able to play golf well at all.
